The Port Ludlow Village Council (PLVC) is currently looking for dedicated community members to join our Utilities Committee. Our charter is to monitor developments with electric, water, sewer, solid waste, and other utilities to make informed recommendations to the PLVC Board of Directors. The Committee meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month, with sub-committees meeting as needs arise.

We are specifically seeking candidates with knowledge in the following areas but welcome all members of the community with a passion for this work.

●      Electric PUD: Understanding of issues relating to our provider

●      Water and Sewer: Knowledge of infrastructure and systems

●      Cell service: Understanding of how cell service operates and coverage areas required

●      Garbage & Recycling: Familiarity with county regulations for solid waste, glass, and Styrofoam

●      Maritime and Marina: Insight into our marina and the Bay ecosystem

●      Drainage Districts: Knowledge of the North Bay facilities and their roles

If you are interested, please reach out to the PLVC Utilities committee at utilities@portludlowvillagecouncil.org.

Thank you for your help in serving our community.
