Who Are the Orcas That Frequent Our Local Waters?
Rebecca Berger dives deep into Bigg’s Orcas (sometimes called transient orcas) that are frequently sighted in the Salish Sea. Their diet (feasting on seals and sea lions), socialization, and social structure are very different from our resident orcas. This presentation will be given on Wednesday, September 23, 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Fort Flagler Recreation Center.

See amazing views of our underwater world by accomplished photographer Larry McGaughey. Larry is a retired environmental engineer, a diver and volunteer at the Port Townsend Maritime Center aquarium. His presentation will be given on
Saturday, October 10, 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., at Fort Flagler World War II Theater.
