Quilters by the Bay - Exhibit, Sale & Silent Auction

Leaves are turning, days are getting shorter, it’s colder, and holidays are coming. It’s time to wrap up in a cozy quilt with a good book, set the table with fresh placemats, and start writing your gift list.
Exhibit
Quilters by the Bay have been busy this year creating a collection of beautiful new quilts. Their quilts will be exhibited at the Bay Club Gallery during October. Featured quilts will include small quilts for grandbabies, wrap-up quilts that are perfect for reading and studying, gorgeous quilts for the bed, and art quilts using colors from wild and crazy to subdued and restful. This exhibit will be a feast for the eyes.
Annual Sale and Silent Auction
Some quilts on display along with table toppers, wall hangings, placemats, kitchen towels, hot pads, and a myriad of other items will be available for purchase at the Quilters by the Bay annual sale on Wednesday, October 14, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Craft room at the Bay Club.
There will also be a silent auction at the annual sale. For 30 years, Quilters by the Bay has donated a quilt for a silent auction with proceeds going to a local charity. Dove House, Habitat for Humanity, various Armed Service organizations, and our county’s Food Banks have been recipients of the proceeds raised by the quilters and patrons of our silent auction. Be sure to bid on this quilt for charity during the annual sale. This year’s recipient of the donation will be announced at the end of the annual sale.
The Bay Club is located at 120 Spinnaker Place in Port Ludlow. For more information, call Judy Danberg at 360-473-7999.
