Ethereality by Caroline Gilmore

Caroline uses acrylics to infuse light, levity, and mystery into her magical paintings. Her use of vibrant colors and the juxtaposition of light versus dark transform the most ordinary objects into something truly extraordinary. Whether it’s a bathtub and butterflies under the stars or a bird and bee alight on an outstretched hand, it’s up to the viewer to interpret and weave their own story as to what they are experiencing.

A reception for Caroline is set for Wednesday, January 14, 4 to 5 p.m. in the lobby of the bank and 5 to 6 p.m. at the adjacent Port Ludlow Art League Gallery. The bank and gallery are located at the corner of Oak Bay Rd. and Osprey Ridge Dr. in Port Ludlow. Enjoy shopping at the gallery Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
