During September, the Port Ludlow Photographers will be displaying their photographs in the Bay Club Gallery. This exhibit features member’s photographs that demonstrate their photographic abilities. Hopefully, the exhibit will provide viewers with inspiration for what to do with all those images taken with smartphones and cameras. The exhibit will also include images the photographers captured on a field trip to the Jefferson County Indian Island Park and will show how photo editing can restore and enhance images. Displayed images have been taken with smartphones, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras and printed on a wide variety of media such as paper, metal, acrylic, fabric, coffee mugs, and photobooks.
The Port Ludlow Photographers is a group of people interested in improving their photography and sharing their knowledge and skills with others. They meet in the classroom at the Bay Club on the fourth Monday of each month 10 a.m. – noon. The group and meetings are open to everyone who is interested in photography, regardless of their photographic experience. There are no dues and no formal organization.
The Bay Club is located at 120 Spinnaker Place in Port Ludlow. For more information contact Aven Andersen at aven1936@live.com.
