New art from 16 makers is circulating through Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery this month. On view now through Monday, September 28, the Migration exhibit brings together cast glass, gouache, collage, and mixed-media creations by Kate Flores, Carolyn King, Loran Scruggs, and Mary O’Shaughnessy.


Showcase Exhibits

On display now through Monday, September 7, is Showcase 2026 Round 2. Twelve participating artists include photographer Kerry Tremain ceramist, Aleta Anderson, painters Jeanne Toal and Marian Morris, printmaker Kelli MacConnell, and jewelry silversmith Sarah Calautti.

Showcase 2026 Round 3, running Thursday, September 10, through Monday, January 4, presents a range of art forms, including glass mosaic, printmaking, photography, and fiber art from a new set of a dozen Northwest artists

 

Jeanette Best Gallery is open Thursdays – Mondays, noon – 5 p.m. During the First Saturday Art Walk, the gallery is open until 8 p.m. For information about gallery shows, events, and artists, visit northwindart.org.

 

New Northwind Art Ceramics Studio

This season brings the opening of the new Northwind Art Ceramics Studio at Fort Worden State Park. The debut date will be announced on northwindart.org and in the organization’s e-newsletter. To subscribe to the news bulletins, send an email to northwindart.org.

 

Northwind Art School

Northwind Art School offers a variety of art and craft courses and workshops.
