display October 1 – November 16. The exhibit features the gouache paintings of Northwest artists Michael Brophy and Karen Hackenberg. Known for curating the Paul Allen art collection, the Seattle Art Fair, and the new Assembly Art Fair, Greg Bell has paired these artists for an exhibit that explores the relationship between humans and the environment.

Also at Jeanette Best Gallery, a new ensemble of artists has filled the Showcase 2026 space with their creations on display October – January 4. Fabric maché maker Kate Dwyer, painters Sandra Offutt and Fred Videon, printmaker Me’l Christensen, and photographer Myron Gauger are among the exhibiting artists.

Jeanette Best Gallery at 701 Water Street, Port Townsend, is open Thursdays – Monday, noon – 5 p.m. and until 8 p.m. during Port Townsend’s monthly first Saturday Art Walk. For information about exhibits, events, and artists, visit northwindart.org
