Community Opportunity Fair Becomes “Port Ludlow Connects”

Planning has kicked off for the 2026 Port Ludlow Community Opportunity Fair, now Port Ludlow Connects. We’ve rebranded this year, with a new name and new tagline: Port Ludlow Connects: Connect with Purpose. We love that the new name showcases the incredible value this biennial gathering brings for the entire community.

The 2024 event was a great success with 60 exhibitors and over 250 attendees! Exhibitors had lively conversations with attendees and reported adding many new volunteers and members.

Please save the date, Friday, August 28, 2026, from 4 - 6:00 p.m. The event will again be held at the Bay Club this year with both inside and outside booths and live entertainment! Exhibitor reservation forms will be sent out soon. Space is limited, and on a first-come, first-served basis.

To keep costs to a minimum, we are requesting each exhibitor provide a volunteer to help the organizing committee on the day of the fair or the day before. This is in addition to the people you will need to staff your booth during the fair. We will send more detailed information about volunteer needs with roles and duties as we get closer to the date.

Please think about fun and creative things you can do at your booth: interesting visuals, fun games, baskets for donations, giveaways. The very popular “passports” will be back. You stamp their passport as attendees come to your booth to fill it in. And to keep things exciting, we will do periodic drawings of the completed passports for fun prizes!

In-Kind Donations rather than a Volunteer: We are also in need of the following items to help make the Fair a success:

  • Van and Driver: We are looking for one more van and driver to transport attendees to and from the extended parking area at the Beach Club on the day of the event. Please let us know if your organization could help with a van and driver instead of a volunteer joining our team. With 2 vans in 2024, attendees flowed very nicely between the Bay Club and extended parking.

  • Tables: We also need about 15 8’x30’’ lightweight folding tables that could be donated for the day of the event in lieu of a volunteer.

  • Water Bottles: To add to attendees’ bags and offer to exhibitors.

Candace Joy is the exhibitor contact this year. Please feel free to call or email her with any questions. Candace’s phone is 425-985-9990, and her email is cjoy4259@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for all you do to make this a fun, informative and successful event for you, the exhibitor, and for all the attendees who want to know how Port Ludlow can help residents “connect with purpose.”
