Happy November from the Jefferson County Library! As the cold weather descends and the evenings get longer, stop by the library for a cozy space and books. Visit jclibrary.info/events for the full Jefferson County Library District events calendar.

Looking for a way to stay active? Join us for Yoga and Core Strength class on Monday, November 2, 5 – 6 p.m. Build strength, improve balance, and leave feeling refreshed! This 45-minute class combines gentle yoga, core strengthening, and mindful movement to help you feel your best. Can’t make it to the November 2 class? We’re having it two more times, on Friday, November 13, from 1 – 2 p.m., and Monday, November 16, 5 – 6 p.m.

Don’t miss the Friends of the Library fall book sale! Join us on Saturday, November 7, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Support the library while you shop for gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs, and music CDs. The sale will take place in the Hagen Building next to the library.

Homes for the Holidays: Candy House Creations begins on Thursday, November 12. It’s time to get creative (and a little sweet)! Build your own candy house—or any fun food-based scene—and share it with the library for our annual Homes for the Holidays display.

Ready to see one of your favorite heroes take the big screen? Bring your family and friends and join us for a Movie Event at the Library on Tuesday, November 24, from 3 – 6 p.m. There will be freshly popped popcorn. Visit our website to learn which movie we’re screening!
