Beach Club Update from the Manager

As summer draws to a close, the rain and gray skies have returned. I hope you had an enjoyable summer and found time to experience all that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

As we look ahead to the new year, I hope you are making plans for a meaningful and enjoyable holiday season. This time of year offers a special opportunity to gather with loved ones, and I hope everyone is able to enjoy time with family and friends.

The holiday season also brings our annual budget ratification meeting, scheduled for Thursday, December 17, at 1 p.m. in the Bayview Room.

I would like to thank all Beach Club members for making my first pool season as general manager such a success. We introduced several new ideas this year and had hoped to extend the pool season. Unfortunately, a failed pump on the boiler made it too difficult to maintain suitable pool temperatures.

Thank you, as well, for your patience during the emergency stairs project. By the time this update is published the project should be complete, with only the fencing remaining to be installed.

I wish you all a meaningful Veterans Day and a happy Thanksgiving.

As always, if you have questions or comments about this article or the ongoing work at the Beach Club, I can be reached at 360-437-9201 or by email at GM@LMCBeachClub.org.
