Ultimi 3 Tenors Light Up the Bay Club for the Holidays
by Jason Wright

On Sunday, December 20, the Bay Club stage will host Ultimi 3 Tenors for an enchanting performance of Carols by Candlelight. The venue will be illuminated by hundreds of glowing electric candles, creating an intimate and magical atmosphere for this unforgettable holiday concert.
When they formed their group, they named themselves Ultimi, Italian for “latest”, so they became “The Latest 3 Tenors.” Isaac Hurtado, Tyler Nelson, and Brian Stucki model their concerts on the Three Tenors tradition that Pavarotti, Domingo, and Carreras made famous, then give it a fresh voice of their own. Between them, they have performed well over 100 operatic roles and sung concerts across the country and abroad.
Their program includes holiday favorites, with piano accompaniment and Stucki on cello. If you’re expecting holiday guests, bring them along! It’s a wonderful, relaxing afternoon for the whole family, and a perfect first taste of opera for kids.
Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for teens 13 – 18, and $10 for children 12 and under, at portludlowperformingarts.com. Every ticket also supports music education for Jefferson County students. To hear the music of the trio, visit ultimitenors.bandcamp.com.
Doors open at 1 p.m. Come early for a glass of wine and a stroll through the Bay Club Gallery that showcases the artwork of the Port Ludlow Art League.
