Spring is coming, and this is your opportunity to be inspired with ideas for perennials and annuals for your garden. As you look through your window and see beautiful plants developing, your enthusiasm for getting outside and working with them will increase. You will find the satisfaction that comes from helping them grow into wonderful flowers to grace your home. Nothing says beauty like a bouquet of flowers you have grown in your own garden. Every year we have a vision of what we want our garden flowers to look like. This is your opportunity to explore that beautiful promise and transform your garden in your own style.
Our March speaker, Mr. Ax Carlson, is a Certified Professional Horticulturist with over ten years of experience in the nursery industry. Since joining Bainbridge Gardens as the Senior Horticulturalist in 2017, Ax has been the lead plant buyer of annuals, perennials, veggies, ground covers, grasses, and more. He teaches several classes each year on topics as wide-ranging as cover crops, deer resistant plants, and carnivorous plants. He tutors fellow staff members for their certification exams. In addition to the aforementioned areas, Ax excels at plant identification, diagnostics, and treatment. Bring your questions to this session for the Q & A at the end of the presentation.
