Northwind Art’s Exhibits and Classes

At Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, the Confluence and Showcase 2026 exhibits are in full swing. Together, these exhibits present the artwork of makers from around the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas.

The Confluence exhibit pairs the art of sculptor Kristin Tollefson and naturalist Darwin Nordin. Both artists find their inspiration in the natural world. 

The new Showcase exhibit features the artwork of several new artists including Lucia Enriquez, Lacy Muhich, Melinda Robinson, and Linnie Hodge.

Jeanette Best Gallery is open Thursday through Monday, noon to 5 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every first Saturday of the month during Art Walk (

Throughout February, Northwind Art School at Fort Worden State Park offers an expanded slate of classes and open studios, including the Paint from Poems workshop that gives participants a chance to exhibit their work at Jeanette Best Gallery, March 19 - May 4. February offerings include:
