Northwind Art
Exhibits
The Conservation Conversations exhibit, featuring oil and gouache paintings by Michael Brophy of Portland, Oregon, and Karen Hackenberg of Port Townsend, continues through November 16.
November brings one of Northwind Art’s most popular annual exhibits, Small Expressions, a juried show that runs November 19 – January 4. The exhibit will fill Jeanette Best Gallery with a diverse mix of work from artists across the Northwest. Each piece is no bigger than 16 inches in any direction, and everything is available for immediate purchase. Small Expressions is designed for the gift-giving season with art that is relatively easy to ship and affordable for a range of budgets.
The third and final round of the Showcase 2026 exhibit presents printmaking, photography, paintings, fabric sculpture, and mixed media art by 12 local makers. The exhibit continues through January 4.
Jeanette Best Gallery at 701 Water St. in Port Townsend is open Thursdays – Mondays,
noon – 5 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on November 7, during the Port Townsend’s first Saturday Art Walk. For information about gallery shows, events, and artists, visit northwindart.org.
