The 14th Annual Dove House Benefit Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, August 21, at the Port Ludlow Golf Course. This event is sponsored by the PSO Bluebills, a local service organization, whose volunteers work with local agencies and schools to improve the quality of life for members of the communities they serve. The tournament is the largest annual fundraiser for Dove House.
The entry fee is $150 for general community and $100 for Port Ludlow Golf Course members. There will be a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Recommended arrival is at 9:30 a.m.
The registration fee includes a golf cart, box lunch, prizes for the winners, and an awards ceremony afterwards at The Bay Club, including a buffet dinner with an open bar. One of the favorite parts of the event is a raffle for gift baskets and gift certificates, generously donated by local businesses and individuals who wish to support Dove House services. Raffle tickets will be sold at the golf course and at The Bay Club before the reception dinner.
Golfers may bring a non-golfing guest to dinner for $25.
This is a very popular event, and the teams are already filling up! Be sure to sign up as soon as possible to ensure a spot! Deadline is Friday, July 31. You can register and pay online on Dove House’s website at dovehousejc.org/online-store. Or send in your registration with a check.
One hundred percent of the proceeds raised go directly to Dove House to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes such as elder abuse and financial scams. This golf fundraiser enables victims to rebuild lives by giving support through trauma, stabilizing lives with tangible needs such as housing, food, hygiene items, transportation, and advocacy. As funding cuts from federal, state, and county continue to trickle down, the continued support from our community is priceless. Thank you for your continued support! Last year almost $30,000 was raised. Help us tip it over this year!
