Capturing Port Ludlow Trails

Watercolor artist Denice Craig Tweedy fell in love with the lush forests and natural beauty of Port Ludlow. Wanting to capture the magic of the landscape, she began walking the trails, photographing scenes that inspired her, and using them as references for her paintings.
Over time, Denice created a collection of 12 original watercolors celebrating the beauty of Port Ludlow's trails. When she displayed the paintings at the Port Ludlow Art League Gallery, members of the Port Ludlow Trails Committee and local residents fell in love with the artwork and suggested turning the paintings into a calendar. That idea became a reality.
Denice's Port Ludlow Trails 2027 Calendar celebrates these special places throughout the seasons, showcasing the beauty of the Port Ludlow trails. The calendar is available at the Port Ludlow Art League Gallery located next to Sound Community Bank at the corner of Oak Bay Road and Osprey Ridge Drive.
Port Ludlow has more than 30 miles of trails, many maintained primarily through the dedication of volunteers working with the Port Ludlow Trails Committee. With every calendar purchased, Denice will make a donation to the Port Ludlow Village Council Trails Committee to support their continued efforts to maintain the trails we all enjoy.
What began as an artist's love of the forest has become a celebration of the trails and a way to give back to the community.
