Summer Gala
A picnic in the park is the theme for Northwind Art’s summer Gala on Saturday, August 29 at Fort Worden State Park. Tickets are available at NorthwindArt.org/gala for this afternoon party featuring live music by Ants Misbehavin’, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and heaps of Mo-Chilli BBQ. The festivities will include tours of Northwind Art School, a sneak peek at the Ceramics Studio to open in September, and a keynote talk by ceramist George Rodriguez.
Gala proceeds are an important source of support for Northwind’s year-round programs, including the nonprofit Jeanette Best Gallery, the Jefferson Healthcare art program, and the art school at Fort Worden.
