Saturday, September 24: Counter Tenor Terry Barber

Known for his extraordinary vocal and stylistic range, Terry Barber Has been featured on some of the world’s most storied stages. His voice has appeared on every major label and he has sung with Madona, Jewel, Steve Smith and many more. The Los Angeles Times acclaims his performances “of great vitality and verve”.  Doors open at 6:30 for this opening night champagne reception.

Sunday, December 11: Wassail Reception and Matinee

Derik Nelson and Family is a sibling vocal trio in the pop/folk genre. Their sound features velvety three-part harmony, lush guitar chords, and lyrical depth. They have garnered almost 3 million views on YouTube and toured more than 40 schools across the West Coast to raise money for music education. Derik has appeared regularly on the television show Glee, among others. This is a rare opportunity to hear perfectly blended harmonies only a family can deliver. Wassail reception and matinee begin at 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, February 25: Duetto with Soprano Victoria Robertson and Baritone Bernardo Berudez

Victoria and Bernardo have performed together at the San Diego Opera and appeared in symphony concerts across the West Coast. This concert showcases their favorite pieces of music from musical theater to classical crossover, popular standards and opera. The lush baritone of Bernardo combined with the vibrant soprano tones of Victoria demonstrates the beauty and power of the human voice. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 25: Joe Trio

Joe Trio is not your average piano trio. Their repertoire consists of classics, works by contemporary composers, and arrangements of popular, jazz, and rock tunes. Morethan virtuosi, the members of the trio are fantastic performers who engage the audience in a way that few classical musicians can. Amply witty, charming, and tremendously musical, Joe Trio leave audiences with a ane appreciation for classical music. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 6: Season Finale with Women of the World

Four women from four corners of the globe comprise the award-winning vocal quartet of Women of the World. The 2014 Harmony Sweepstakes National Champions have collaborated with industry legends Bobby McFerrin and African idol Angelique Kidjo. Their repertoire honors numerous global traditions. Their mission is to explore and celebrate the cultural ideologies of women throughout the world. Women of the World have been featured at Carnegie Hall, Blue Note Jazz and the Boston Symphony orchestra. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Ticket Purchase Information

Subscriptions and Flex Passes:
Season subscriptions for the 2016/2017 series are sold out. Six-concert Flex Passes are available for $138, a saving of $2 off the individual ticket price of $25. Several people can use a Flex Pass to attend one or more concerts in the series. Passes are only available by mail. Purchasers may indicate which concerts they would like to attend on the order form. Exchanges of passes must be made one month before a performance date. Seating is in the General Admission area.

General Admission Tickets:
Individual concert tickets can be purchased for $25 after May 24 at www.PortLudlowPerformingArts.com and in person at the Bay Club approximately one month before each concert. Open seating for General Admission ticket buyers in the the areas surrounding the Underwriter/Benefactor/Subscriber reserved section. Subscribers, Concert Underwriters, and Benefactors:
Series subscribers are a vital part of the Port Ludlow Performing Arts. They purchase a series of six concert subscriptions for a discounted price and receive priority seating in the auditorium.

Benefactors are donors giving an annual contribution of $500 or more to support the concert series. Benefactors may request specific seat assignments.

Concert Underwriters underwrite specific concerts with a donation of $1000 or more. Benefits include public acknowledgement, priority seating, and the warm feeling that goes with providing something of value to the community.

Port Ludlow Performing Arts is a 5019(c)(3) organization.

The Venue:
All concerts are held in the auditorium of the Bay Club at 120 Spinnaker Place in Port Ludlow. Doors open one hour before each concert. Underwriters, Benefactors and Subscribers are admitted 15 minutes earlier to select seats for the performance.

No-host wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available one hour before each concert and during intermission.
